Pittsburgh Hotels

Pittsburgh is a city in Pennsylvania, the second largest to be exact. The Downtown district of Pittsburgh has the largest number of hotels and lodging options throughout the city. Prices can be pretty reasonable and most hotels are conveniently located close to many attractions and activities.

Luxury Stay

The Omni William Penn Hotel is one of the older, more luxurious hotels in the downtown district of Pittsburgh. It's actually been called the "historic grande dame" of the city. With almost 600 guest rooms, there is sure to be a specific one that fits your needs. The hotel has almost a "romantic" feel to it, and it shows as soon as you walk through the doors of the lobby, with crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and a modern, yet sophisticated decor. Of course there is a spa located on-site and there is wireless internet access throughout the hotel. Some of the largest suites offer guest full kitchens, grand pianos, sitting rooms and Jacuzzi tubs. There are also activities to keep children occupied, as well as complementary "goodie-bags" when checking in.

Affordable Stay

Red Roof Inns are notoriously low-cost and family friendly; the Red Roof Inn Pittsburgh South Airport Hotel is no different. It's conveniently located close to the airport and even offers "Park / Fly" discounts. Rooms are equipped with all the basics, such as internet access, televisions with games and movies available for a small fee and "newly renovated" private bathrooms. One, well-behaved family pet is allowed per room and kids under 17 years old stay free. The position of the inn couldn't be much better: only a short drive to the airport, with in walking distance to many restaurants and close to business convention centers, hospitals, universities and parks.
